It was originally 'factory equipped' with a 302 V8 with a 2 barrel carburetor. If the auto is original (probably is, the door plate would confirm it) then it is a C-4 automatic. It probably has front disc brakes (pretty common on the V8 cars '74 and up) and makes an excellent starting point for a hot rod...then again I AM biased so my recommendations may be slightly skewed...;-)
