I have a 70 mav, C4 trans, 2.79 gearing, pure stock 200, 61000 actual miles overhauled at 39000 miles because it sat for many years, I would like to awaken it a little bit but I don't want to go very far from stock (meaning no headers or big mods) but would like a little bit more go power. I currently run 18-19 on the 1/4 mile. What would be some suggestions? I don't expect a huge difference. What about Duraspark ignition, is it worth it? I thought about changing the gearing but it would probably be pretty high rpm at 75.
