Hi,
I just swapped the front brakes on my Maverick, and now I am putting in the different pedal assembly required for the power brakes. Anyway, I got a brake pedal assembly from a Granada, but it will not mount up in the front on the edge of the dash. It is completely different from the non power one in that the dash mounting part is completly different. Do I need a Maverick one?(I am pretty sure they are the same though) Am I missing a piece on the power pedal part? What should I do? The non power one is pretty wide at the dash attaching area, and had three or four holes which bolt it to the dash and bracket that continues up. The power one has no wide area with the three or four bolt holes. It's just narrow in the middle. How the heck do I mount this thing?? Has anyone else had this problem? Any help/pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Corb, you need the Mav/Comet pedal assembly and brake booster. You also need the firewall to spring tower brace that is used with power. There different than nonpower. The master cylinder for the setup is also unique to power. It has a smaller internal bore size to reduce pedal effort.
