Rudy; yes, it could be that. Most likely it is the points and condensor, but also try the vacuum advance. Take the vacuum line off the source, and, with the distributor cap off, draw a vacuum on the hose and see if the breaker plate moves, and how much. If it doesn't, that is probably it. It also acts as a vacuum leak when the diaphram goes. Also, it could be the accellerator pump. Give these a try, and let us know. Earl
