I got my first Maveric [it's really a 71 mercury Comet but it's the exact same vehicle except for the hood,grill, and tail lights!] about two years ago but i just found this site about two weeks ago and have been learning more about them ever since.the easiest answer to your questions though is that they all can be answered right here on this site and it's related links under the history headings. The differences are too few and too numerous to go into detail here unless someone else wants to give it a shot [and excercise their fingers!].
