I doubt that it is an actual 1970 "Grabber". 1970 Grabbers did not have the grabber hood, but did have the rear spoiler. Also, are you sure it is a 1970? All 1970's had 4-lugs, and your car has 5-lugs. Maybe somebody changed it over to 5-lugs....or maybe somebody has rebodied a 1973 body with a number off of a 1970 car. No big deal either way. Your car also has a 1975-1977 grill. No center emblem and no crosshairs on the turn signals.Your seats are out of a 1972-1973 Maverick/Comet with the Luxury decor option. Those are nice seats. The doors are off of a 1970 thru 1972 Maverick/Comet, as evident by the arm rests. The green paint on the doors matches the green paint on the floor, so I would say the doors are original.
Looks like a very nice car, no matter what you really have.

I just bought this mav. It is supposed to be a 1970 grabber, 6 cyl. car. It has the grabber hood(and is in excellent cond.) but not the rear spoiler(which i am currently in the process of getting from Craig Selvey), is this common? It also has bucket seats that have the same upolsthery pattern as the back seats but I was wondering if these are originals? It needs a few things but it is in good shape, the paint is new but the guy who taped off the stripes did a bad job.
