.....A couple of things here. The head lites feed through a circuit breaker on the head lite switch that comes from main power feed at the starter relay battery terminal. You think the parking lites didnot go off! Are your assuming that because the dash lites didnot go out? The parking lites are thru a seperate 15 amp circuit breaker also on the lite switch. Dash lites thru fuse #3 a 4 amp in the panel. Hint!
..The charge indicator lite is powered thru the ignition switch and back to the voltage regulator as a lead with a green/red stripe wire. Seems this points back to the charge ckt. area.
..You may have more than one problem. Go over all the connections at the starter relay (battery side) post, looking for terminals that have broken strands. Place an extra ground from engine block to fender well. Look at the connections on the lite switch (with the neg battery lead disconnected) for saftey. You will get it. Just look at everything well lighted.
