Could be a dirty fuel filter, idle set too low on the carb, bad fuel pump. A lot of options. A rule of thump i alway have is start with the simplest [which is usually the cheapest] solution first.Change the fuel filter. The car has been sitting and crud from the bottom of the fuel tank could have clogged the line, the pump, or the filter. But something you can try for free is simply disconnect the fuel line from the carb, hold it in a jar and have someone try to crank it. If fuel is making it from the tank, to the pump, through the filter and into the jar them the problem is in the carb [or the problem is at least on that side of the system]. If enough fuel does not go into the jar, then start with the filter and work your way back.
Maybe some else on the board can tell you how much fuel should be in the jar [i'll have to look it up in my Chilton's]. If i find out before I leave work i'll post it.Hope this helps!
