n/m A metal or fiber plate of various thickness inserted between the mainfold and the carb to change the flow paramters.
....This device is Rpm sensitive to the engine. ....The 4 hole tends to extend the track length thus improves the lower Rpm response. ....The open type placed under the carb tends to allow all the intake tracks to feed from all the carb barrels per intake pulse instead of just the two. This will tend to help high Rpm power and allows each cylinder a little more air fuel mix. |
