I have a buddy who recently needed a new water pump for his '75 Mav inline six 250. After 4 (yes, four) remanufactured pumps were brought to the counter by the local AutoZone idjit EVERY ONE of them had a bent shaft where the impeller was rubbing on the housing. This jacka*s said they were *supposed* to be like that!!!!!! hehehahaha
Went over to the local O'Reilly and bought a NEW pump, for $2.36 more than the AutoZone people wanted for the reman. Works great!
Anyone else have a bad or, dare I say "questionable" experience with the highly experienced people at AutoZone?
I ordered a slave cylinder for my 1 ton ford dually and they ordered me a master cylinder instead.
