Corbin, No problem at all and thanks for the help! My 13 y/o son (a huge Maverick fan) says he will be happy to yank the brace and put the lines above it. I may have to loosen the lines where they go into the power cylinder a bit to adjust them to sit a bit higher but I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work. If you look at the picture, you'll see that my power cylinder comes down at a pretty extreme angle, the result of having put heddman headers on.
I'll route the lines over the top of the brace and let you know how it works out.

Hi Tracy,
All I can tell you is that on my original 302 Maverick the powersteering hoses go over the crossbrace. They are tucked up right against the pan in the back and once they reach the front sump they run along the side and then go up to the pump. If had a digital camera I could take pictures for you, but hopefully someone else will come to your rescue. I don't know what else to say, except that my original ones are over the brace. Hope this helps.
