They used different bell housing depending on the engine. Has to match the block bolt pattern. You can find another C-4 bellhousing that'll work, but you'll have to get a convertor that goes with both your spline count and the flexplate bolt pattern. 66-69 289,302,351W use pretty much the same setup.
