I forgot my best Zoned story. When I was having problems blowing headgaskets, I ordered some premium Fel-Pro gaskets from Autozone. It was Saturday when they finally came in. I had no transportation at all except my Maverick (which had the heads off). The guy handed me my head gaskets, neatly folded in half. They were total junk. I went to the local independent and ordered the same gaskets. They cost about $5 more. But I've never been back to the Zone since except for some simple things late at night or on Sunday. And even then I am amazed at the ignorance there. Of course there worst help is probably there during those hours, but still. I went to buy some jets recently (none of the indys carry Holley here). They insisted they didn't have them. I knew they did, and I talked to 3 more people there that didn't believe me. Finally the manager called the 'other' manager at my insistance and they 'remembered' where they were. I wanted to leave in disgust but I really needed the jets.
