Even if you go with single exhaust you need the double-hump to accomodate the exhaust head pipe that formerly wasn't there on the six. That I know of v8 Mavericks never came factory with dual exhaust, but they have the double-hump crossmember just the same.
I was wondering about the v-8 swap. I have read on here that everyone suggest getting a v-8 tranny crossmember. (2 hump) or something like that. Is that part of the swap just so duel exhaust can be ran or is it a strength issue with the extra power of the small block. Just curious. Thanks.
