What is the cheapest carb I can put on a 302 (it would be a temp thing until I rebuild the moter).... I have a motercraft that was rebuilt substandard ( incorrect screws on the acc pump.... sam,
the cheapest is probably the original 2V. when my maverick needed a new carb, i priced one from autozone for about $139. this required a core.
however, i opted for an edelbrock 4V carb for $199. i know thats $60 more, and you'd have to get a new intake manifold..
but i dont regret it at all.
i put a little 500 cfm carb on, and it kicks ass.
