Help!!! I am not sure what to do. I am finally in the process of beginning to work on/restore my 72 2 door 302 maverick that my mother originally bought new. The front suspension sways like the dragon ride at a carnival. All of the parts seem to be made new except for the idler arm, which ford says it obsolete. I checked out the auto krafters site for new ones, and they had one for the 73/74 maverick, and once for the 75-77 maverick. Will either of these work on my 72? If not, what will. I know the car is similar to a Falcon, and other ford cars, is there a new idler arm from a mustang or falcon that could cross over? I am trying to avoid used parts.
