Where are those human rights folks when you need them? Why screw around with old cars that only us enthusiasts care about when there are hungry mouths [esp. children's mouth's] to feed in this country along with unemployment and these screwed up 401 k plans, and inadaquate health and life insurance coverage. Not to mention there's a war going on [which draws attention away from this kind of thing]. However i am a reasonable individual. i'll have to read this proposal in it's entirity before i can fully offer my totally biased opinion. If they are only paying folks for running cars that were goiing to be scraped anyway then fine [because there's nothing we can do about that anyway]. Besides how many cars have we scraped because we couldn't find a home for them or no longer had a use for their parts. But at least we can say they went to a scrap yard where there is still hope that some one else will still have need of it or it's parts. Well that's my 2 cents. Who's next on the soap box?
