Sam; If you want to save a buck or two, get a salvage yard mustang shifter. I got one from a '67, and it works great. Just have to get the stock linkage rod, locate the shifter where the rod tells you, and it will work fine. But they are right, you have to turn the manual shift arm (drop the pan and remove the nut and turn it over) over, and it works great. It looks good too, the shifter is relatively small and chrome, with a lighted legend. Hope this helps.
