Yes, backing away from cam advance will kill off some of the low end. If you need to go very much retarded like more than 4, then the cam spec need to be revisited. I don't have much spring specific info to be of any help. Go to ISKY, Crane, Ultradyne or one of those cam suppliers for info. The best to you and your operations. Ken
