All I know is that there should be two hoses (total) that come off the pump. One is the "pressure" hose, and the other is the return. Is the rubber part of the hose leaking, or is it the metal tubing that comes off the pump itself? I think what they meant was that the hose is two piece counting the metal tube which it attaches to that comes from the pump. I am pretty sure that the Mavericks/Comets never had two pressure hoses. Hope this and the diagram help. Good Luck.
