You need a lot more than just the booster. You need the pedal assembly inside the car, a special bracket for the firewall to hold the booster, and a special shock tower to cowl brace on that side of the car. You will also need a proportioning valve, and it will have to be relocated to a vertical position. You will also need new master cylinder to prop valve "lines". If you have all the parts....easy swap. If you don't..., well, that is where you are at now.
------------------------------------------------- :=I am installing power brake booster on 71 grabber, I understand that 75 was the first year for power brakes on maverick, I bought one from auto store for 75 and it will not bolt to firewall on my 71 grabber, is the firewall the same on 71 and 75 or different? any tips on how to install would be greatly appreciated, |
