Will; sounds to me like the coolant is not completely full, or has a restriction. See if the thermostat is working and opening fully, or if a hose is collapsing under pressure. As for the pully rattling, just see if the alt or ps or fan pully is loose or wallowed out, and check the tightness of the belts, they may be loose or worn. Good luck, and let us know how it goes.
