cruise control?

i realize this isnt a typical subject for maverick drivers. a friend of mine bought a 73 mach 1 mustang, that someone had installed a cruise control unit on. the car doesnt run, so we have no idea it works or how well, if it does at all. in any event... IF i could adapt a cruise to my maverick, i would. ive become spoiled to some of those ammenities on my chevy wagon, that never were available to mavericks. anyone ever done this? seen it? have an idea of where to get the necessary parts? how much would it cost? is it difficult to install? just curious, what do yall think? it would have to work with an edelbrock 4V, and possibly air conditioning.
