Remember the NASCAR engines are running at a higher RPM for a constate setup. They also use a funnel type 2" 4 hole plate down to the restricter plate.
Another thing you can do is just disconnect the seconadries and run it as a 2 brl. that way it'll act like a big 325 CFM carb. Unless it's a mechanicial you'll never get those secondaries to open anyway, even with a lite spring and 600rpms. 289 just doesn't have the air flow. Best deal, is look on ebay and get a good, cheapier 600 cfm and sell the 750. |
