Rob, what kind of carb are you running? So if you slowly give it gas it is fine, correct? Check the accelerator pump or pumps if it is a double pumper! With the car OFF look into the carb and turn the throttle lever and see if gas is "squirting" into the venturi (carb barrels). If not, replace the accelerator pump diaphragm! Good luck
