First, never grab frayed old spark-plug wires on a running Granada (DuraSpark) while standing in a puddle of water. If you do, you might want to yell "clear" first. You'll wake up about five minutes later.

Also never try to replace the automatic trans shifter bushings on a 1969 Ford XL (the ones where the linkage connect to the trans) while parked on a steep hill. You just might accidently knock the car out of park and, if you're lucky enough to get out from under the hood, watch your car quickly pick up speed as it heads toward your father-in-law's house (thank God for bumpsteer and dirt roads).
