Hey all,
I'm sure someone has encountered this one before: I have a Hurst Pro-Matic 2 shifter, cable operated. The tunnel on my '70 Mav (actually 69.5) is too narrow for me to use the C4 mounting bracket, so i had to make a bracket. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work too well--everything works except for ratcheting down to first and going all the way up in park. I've adjusted the linkage as much as i can...at this point i think it's a problem with the angle of the linkage. Has anyone else run into this problem? What did you do to fix it? Any pre-made brackets, or should i just make my own? By the way, this is for a v8 mav, with a "double hump" tranny mount. Thanks! Chris |
