For the record Guys, Tracy called after my first post to discuss 'sand blasting in general' before I took the blaster back to Sears. He offered a demonstration at his house. Turns out we had identical blasters. The only difference was the size of media reservoirs.

He took the time to show me what I was doing wrong (or rather, what I could do better) and explained, in a non-condescending way, all the how-to's involved in sand blasting.

After he got my blaster working right (I was using the wrong type of sand for one thing), I didn't want to stop! Nothing like seeing instant results! ('sorry about blasting the spots off Toby (his dalmation)).

Anyway, thanks again. I hope I can return the favor when you turn the 302 into a 347!

By the way, I forgot. Everyone's invited to Tracy's for a symposium on powder coating this weekend (I'll never paint parts again!)
