the brace from the engine to the frame, can you give us a little more detail! Also, the crossmember between the shock towers is the same as the brace that the V8 cars had/have from the factory and I found the the 6cyl cars have the "holes" and cage nuts to install the bracket! Have never seen a original V8 Mav, all of ours have been 6cyl but the member we made was out of .120 wall roll bar tubing etc. The torque brace was made from a 4inx4in piece of 1in thick aluminum from the scrap yard(love that place). Drilled and counterbored for aircraft socket head capscrews, this bolts onto the exsisting holes in the left front Edelbrock head. Then a steel bar was bolted to the bottom of the aluminum plate and to the frame rail. Used a oil filter adapter off of a 460 powered van which allows positioning it out of the way of the plate on the head. If you have a street application I am not sure if those exsisting holes in the head can be used as they may have an accessory bracket or something bolted to them. Back in the old days(that's me) we even used a piece of chain or turnbuckles on my stock cars and drag cars. Have used this aluminum plate setup on this Mav for 8yrs now and has worked well.
