Just to let those of you who are interested, things are progressing slowly, but in a forward direction. Though I still need to get a finalized date for the weekend, it is looking like the last weekend in August at this juncture. The main cruise/show will be at the Lake Arthur Regatta which is a weekend of outdoor activity at the beautiful Moraine State Park nearby. The show/cruise was very well attended this year and ended with a great oldies concert where the owners of the vintage tin got front row seats along the amphitheatre with their cars. A good time was had by all. Other events for the weekend are still pending, so stay tuned for more. Remember, the sign up list is available on the "Events page" on maverickcomet.com. You are not committing to attend if you sign up, unless you want to. This is to gauge sincere interest and will help with negotiating lodging rates. Many thanks to Pres.
