You should be able to find an article or posts in the archives section of this board on how to modify your shock towers to allow the headers to fit without giving up too much strength in your towers. Basically, you cut out the shock towers enough to allow room for the headers (start cut one inch above lower control arm and go outwards, then upward towards the inner side of the upper shock mount, and then weld a flat 3/16" plate in the cut-out to support the shock towers.
