I'm thinking of purchasing a maverick grabber, but it has the vinal roof. Can that material be taken off and is the result the same as a maverick without the vinal material?

I removed mine from my 73. It isnt to much work, just finish it like the rest of the body. You wont need and of the chrome pieces that are there just for the top. After I removed the top, I use a strong paint stripper to cut the glue, this took it down to bare metal.
