I have discs on the back or else I would adjust them back. My front brakes are scrubbing because I am using the drum master cylinder with residual pressure valve. I know, I know, I need to swap it out for something else but I just haven't researched exactly what I need to buy yet. It only takes time....
another trick with the brakes, is to use very heavy duty return springs on the brake shoes. This makes them release quicker. I also had one of my rear brake shoes self adjuster doing it's own thing and tighting up the brake on me. I finally removed the self adjuster tab and drilled and safety wired the adjuster itself so it couldn't turn.
