someone vandilized my 70 mav. last night at the shop where I am getting the row cage installed. They cut all of my wires in the engine bay at the firewall where they come out of the fuse box. My question is this, I need to re wire it, all i need is whatever powers the fuse box and the ignition. I also ran my MSD box through the heater fuse (constant live) so can someone please tell me the color wires running out of the firewall that I need to make it run again?
Also, when I got there today it has been really cold so i wanted to turn the motor over so i jumped the cylinoid and when i took the screwdriver off the cylinoid the starter kept turning. can someone please tell me why it did this...thanks alot..
........................................Two or more of the cut wires are shorted togather. Most likely
just happen to be the two leads coming from the ignition switch to the starter solinoid. Remove the plugs at the solinoid to prevent the starter from continuing to opreate.
As for color coding, you have a little mess anyway. Unrap the cable, remove the fuse block and match the colors.
