i,ve got a 71 maverick,351w, that i use for drag race only. runs mid 13's in street class. has anyone that races had any problems with them removed. sure looks a lot cleaner and easier to get to a lot of areas. thanks

Don, MPG makes a set of aluminum tubular supports. Kit comes complete with brackets, tubes, rod ends and pins. Unfortunately the kits they offer are for the older Mustangs and require minor modification to fit a Maverick. I have a 351W in mine and it only takes about 30 secs. to pull the out whenever I need to pull the valve covers. Very clean solution to your probem.
