as always... im doing feasibility studies as i search for an accumulate new/better parts for my 72 maverick.
i may have an opportunity to buy a wrecked 67 mustang. it has a fresh, hotrod, 302 engine and a rebuilt C4 tranny. oddly enough... this car looks almost identical to mine, under the hood. we both have a 302 with AC + PS. i think my main quibble is.. can i link that 67 C4, with floor shift linkage.. to my existing column mount? naturally, id prefer a floor shift. but im not particularly interested in cutting a hole in my floor board........................................................................Hi Max,it should be just a thing on changing the linkage over,it should fit just fine.your linkage should replace it perfectly. I see you are in Tenn. I'm in memphis, myself...where are you?? Good Luck,Jim would it be relatively simple/affordable to convert the old C4 to my existing column shift? (my C4 is weak, and will need replacing in the future) thanks MT |
