Actually not that much, Cleveland is about 35# heavier, 1/4" longer, same height but the 1/2" wider is the biggest draw back, 302 is only 24 compared to the 25 1/2" of the 351C. But still workable. Lots of good parts still for 351C 2b, and it'll work with the small C-4 or C-6 bellhousing to keep weight down and HP loss in trans down.
Do it, but keep in mind it's not a freebie swap. If doing it for the street, it requires the complete power train swap, suspension and brake upgrades.

Hey everybody, I have a question.

I recently found a 72 Gran Torino Sport with a 351 clevland 2bbl. I was just wondering, what would be the size difference between a 351w and a 351c in terms on installing it into my Comet.

There is a guy locally who had a built Cleveland in a Mav that he street/drag raced. He recently put the motor in a mustang(i've only known him since it's been in the Mustang, so I never got to see the Mav installation.) I do know that at the local 1/8mile strip he ran a 7.0 on the motor alone.

Didn't mean to ramble, but I like the power a Cleveland can make and was just wondering about the size difference.

Thanks all
Dan.
