MT, the 302 C4 is a bolt in with the maverick "IF" your car was originally equipped with a V8. If not you will need the V8 motor mounts and the V8 column C4 shift linkage. If you convert to the floor shift the 67 mustang should work as long as you have all of the parts that go with it (the rod etc). I have been told that the maverick floor pan is "dimpled" in four places on the trans tunnel giving reference to the four "bolt" holes that are necessary to install this shifter. Obvioulsly, you will need the larger center hole for the shifter itself. Good luck!
