Ok folks,my 73 maverick has standard steering.It drives well,but we all enjoy power steering,here is the ???what do I need to convert to power steering besides pump,steering box etc.

Just a comment Jim, this type of pwr steer will have a little delay to wheel input till the control valve gets operated off center to open the port and operate the cylinder. It's a normal condition so would not want to have any excess travel in the box to add to it. As stated in another post, new parts may be of help in reducing delay due to wear etc. Make sure the idle arm has no slop. The system need all the help it can get to be decent. Even the old Corvettes had this kind of steering and some of the parts are the same. Merry Christmas,Ken
