Ken; thanks for the info. I also have a home-built crossover system. I just don't much like the way it sounds, kinda like a mosquito when it is wound up. I have 2.25" exhaust and turbo mufflers. Might change it when I get the new headers. Did your crossover change the exhaust tone to a great degree, and do you like it? I may have done something wrong, as it did not get me much improvement in power. Thanks,
Earl

Yes, it did the same for sound. They all will. I'm not big on the heavy sound any more.(Wife and using radio) As for power, my rig still goes like hell, that's enough. I changed over from 2-1/2" H pipe so would not see a large change if any. I needed less noise is one reason I went to this system but still get heavy droning between 1800 and 2200 rpm as I did with long tubes and Flow Masters. It may have somthing to do with the cam timing i'm running. Late exhaust opening on the exhaust profile. The cam has 114deg lobe seperation with the exhaust opening 72 bbc. This cam profile has a wide power band and pulls hard from 2800 to over 6000. I needed it for a 3 speed auto trans use.
