Go with the manifold, carb, roller rocker arms, good valve/porting job on the heads & headers, and use 2 1/4" into a single 3" exhaust pipe out the back. Go with a cam no bigger then the Edlebrock Pref. specs. Electronic iginition system including wires, coil, plugs.
Then go with a 3.55 posi gear, and a good trans rebuild with shift kit and one step higher stall convertor. Remove the regular fan and install a electric cooling fan.

whats the best and cheapest way to increase horse power and performance on my 73 ford maverick with 302 2 barrel?

i looked into getting dual exhaust and headers, but it costs too much on the car, needs custom headers and the exhaust twists before the bumper so that shit costs more...

i don't know what to do now, i considered maybe a new carb with 4 barrel, but i want ppls opinions who have done upgrades, the cheapest upgrades that show good performance.

basically i want this granny muscle car to go faster but not for alot of cash because it's not worth that much ;p
