First off there is no such thing as "2or4" barrel heads, They're all the same. The pistons were different to make the compression ratio difference.
C9 or D0 heads well both work. Unless you use "rail rocker arms" you'll need guide plates and screw in studs. You have to also use both a 302 & 351W intake gasket set. Unless you get a set big enough for the 351W intake ports. 302 ends with the 351W head/intake gaskets.
You'll loose some comp. some have the heads milled .020" to bring some back.
And unless you port out the exhaust ports. You really won't get that much difference. Exhaust port size is the same as 289/302s are.


I had someone tell me that a way to add some horse power was by putting 351 heads on my 73 302 grabber...is this true? what all will i need besides the wider bolts/washers?
