I had someone tell me that a way to add some horse power was by putting 351 heads on my 73 302 grabber...is this true? what all will i need besides the wider bolts/washers?
my understanding that the clevelands had a 2 or 4 barrel designation and the windsors were all the same, but i'm not an expert by any means. i had a set of DO's built by a machine shop for a 302 i was building but i ended up using them on my 351w. worked ok but for what i put in them and a couple of hundred more i probably should have bought a set of aluminum heads ready to go. check with a shop to see what it's going to cost you first. the aluminums also help with the weight loss up front. good luck.
