I found a 1970 Maverick and was able to get it for 200.00. It runs although I think the 6 is on its last leg. The bumpers and body is in good shape and the interior is fair. I actually was trying to buy another one when the owner told me about this one. I think the guy I bought it from was needing some more drugs though....
The reported "grabber" I went looking for with a helicopter turned out to be a very tired comet that the owner did not want to sell. I guess it hadn't started the metamorphisis back to earth enough yet
