I have a set of 1969 302 heads sitting in my garage and I dont know what they are. Any help would be great.

Under the heads on the piston side there is this:
B 11 302 D00E
69

Under the valve covers there is this:
a circle the size of a quarter with L6135 and 302

Does anybody know anything about these heads and if they are worthy of doing any machine work to them. Or where I can get some info on these heads. The guy who gave them to me said they were 1969 302 high performance heads...but I dont know.
They have big intake and exhaust valve in them, look close to 2.02s and 1.69 by my ruler.

Thanks for any hel

Todd, measure the rectangle size of the intake port. These look like a crossover (production) head used on the 351W that already had the larger valve size.
..Also look at the head bolt hole size. If they are larger than the 1/2" used for a 302 and show no evidence of drilling out, then they were used on a 351w even though there is 302 on the casting. Some one has put the 2" valves in them. Stock size is 1.84/1.54.
..You may also notice that the edge of the 2" valve comes quite close to the chamber wall. They may even be pocket ported. Take another look at them. The port size would be 1.94 x 1.76 for 351W engines. If the ports are the larger size then you got yourself the good ones.
