The flexplate is the automatics equivalent to a flywheel. It bolts on the end of the crankshaft and the torque converter (a clutch) bolts to that. The vacuum canister is there because you probably have factory air and all the heater/ac controls are run off vacuum. If you remove it all you will get out of your system is defrost. |
