Jimmy, There are several opinions on the suitability of the 250 radiator for the 302 engine but I am using the "250" radiator on my '76 Mav and it runs 180 degrees all day long so I guess if its in good shape you can keep it. As far as the crank is concerned... and bear in mind this is just me speaking, I'd probably get a good quality tap and see if I couldn't clear the stripped condition of the threads. If the doesn't work them (maybe?) tap out the threads to the next highest size. I'm not an expert engine builder but am just saying what I would do if it was MY goof. The damper puller probably only damaged the first few threads so its probably ok to "chase" them to get it working. Regards,
