At the Round-Up Nationals we have an "Original" class, but it is not nearly as stringent as the Mustang crowd...those guys take it REAL serious.
----------------------------------------------------
:=What does that really mean. I have been playing around with hot rods for a while, but I have never went with all original. I here people say "#'s matching" what does that mean? Thinking about restoring the 75 back to all original. But not sure. I want a V-8. If I found a original Mav. small block would that still fall under the all original? Someone please shine some light on this subject for me. Thanks.

The term refers to nearly every part on the car being original or new old stock parts (nos) down to the correct motorcraft battery, all decals in place, correct colors in every area, all hoses and cables factory correct. Interior all factory correct, no cd player, no changes or mods anywhere. Correct tires, rims, caps etc.
This is a lot of effort, and the shows that the car would be entered in would be judged by people who know the cars very well, like an all Mustang national show would be judged. Currently there are no shows that would judge Mav/Comet cars on that level, that I know of. By the way, at this level of judgement, I've heard/saw hard feeling between owners because one didn't win first prize. Its a different ball game, and the money and time invested in the car become quite high just to win a trophy.
