hello! i want to put front speakers in my 71 mav. where is the best place to put them ( doors? ) and exactly where would they go and how thick can they be? id rather get a dual speaker for the mav dash like old mustang aftermarket companies make but do they make that for the mav? if they dont i have to find a place for the pair. please help! thanks, mike

Consider the kick panels theres room behind them and there easy to remove. Mount the speakers on the panels along with the grilles.
