its not actuall chrome, i mean that finish they put on plastic to give it a chrome appearance. the grill on my regal is that way, its cheap plastic but looks and even pits like chrome

theres a guy who makes custom grills i think if i get the extra money some day ill send in myn and get 1 made i emailed him to put the center emblem in the design of the new grill he seems pretty cool jwe@customgrills.com
I, too, have a spare in storage, and I put one on my NON-LDO 74 Maverick, along with the chrome surrounds for the grill lamps, that has had the fins blacked out so the CHROME stands out more. And, yes it is real chrome. You can chrome plastic. rk
Yeah, but Mr. Dennis also has a spare Maverick run "through" the wall of his garage...so I guess a closet is a logical place to store his spare grill.....I heard that his spare windshield doubles as a shower door in his bathroom.....but I mean that's just a rumor......:16suspect When I was living in the McNeese University Apartments, I kept my new wheels and tires in my closet.....
